Algebra in area. In these questions the lengths of the sides of shapes are given as algebraic expressions. Your task is to work out the value of the unknown.  You must be able to solve algebraic equations with the unknown on both sides, and you need to be able to expand brackets in algebra. Similar questions were asked in the CSSE exam in 2020 and 2022. Suitable for all 11+ entry exams: Secondary school entrance exams, ISEB, CSSE, GL assessment, Grammar School entrance, Private schools, CEM and Bond.
