Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms & What to Do About it | Dr. Janine

In this video, Dr. Janine shares vitamin D deficiency symptoms and what to do about it.  She talks about how weak bones, teeth and gums, lung infections, and high blood glucose levels can all be signs of low vitamin D.  As well as fatigue, depression, high blood pressure, muscle aches, and back pain.  Dr. Janine suggests getting as much vitamin D from direct sunlight as possible during the months that you can, depending on where in the world you live.  She recommends eating more vitamin D foods, like mushrooms (left in the sun will increase their vitamin D levels), wild salmon, sardines, tuna, or egg yolks.  Lastly, Dr. Janine explains that if you are going to take a vitamin D supplement make sure it is a vitamin D3, not D2.
