In this tutorial, we learn how to create different expressions using the soft select tool in Maya. Once we produce our target mesh(s) we utilize Blendshape deformer tool to connect the target objects to the base object. In addition, we address a very common input order error and finally, we link our expression to a custom curve for clarity. I’ve packed a lot of tips and tricks in this video so let’s get started.
