Beer bread is known for its simplicity and unique flavour profile. In this video, I show you how to bake a hearty bread using beer instead of water, perfect for a hearty snack. 300g beer
4g dry yeast
12g salt
500g wheat flour

Preparation:
1. put the beer, yeast and salt in a bowl, mix and let dissolve. Add the flour and mix vigorously (the dough does not need to be kneaded). 2.
Cover the bowl and leave to rise for about 90 minutes. During this time, stretch and fold the dough 2 times with moistened hands (this makes it easier). Cover the bowl with a lid or bag and leave to rise in the fridge for approx. 15 hours. 3.
Remove the dough from the fridge, place it on a floured work surface, fold the sides in towards the centre and shape it slightly. Place the bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper, lightly flour the top and cut into it with a knife.
4. bake the bread at 220°C for about 40 minutes with steam to get a nice crust.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool slightly.
