Henna Tutorial ~ Henna Test + Straining

This is a two part tutorial! First, this video shows you how to determine when your henna paste has released it's dye (i.e. it's ready!) and second, how to strain your paste to rid of any lumps or clumpiness that may be there!

**The henna paste here is a water mix, so the color difference isn't as extreme as a lemon juice mix. The second step in seeing if your paste is ready is a better indicator for me!

**Jamila henna powder mixes sometimes take an additional 5-10 minutes after you remove the paste on the palm to see if it's bright orange.
