I'm a Professional Body Artist located in Toronto ON. in Canada, and I provide Temporary Tattoo Services like Mehndi Henna, Jagua Gel, Glitter Gel and White Henna Glam.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to remove the henna paste from your skin and how to care for it. Follow these aftercare instructions carefully so your stain can last for as long as possible.👇👇👇
▪︎Step 1 - Keep the henna paste on for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight.
( the longer you leave the paste on, the darker your stain will be )
▪︎Step 2 - To remove, gently scrape off the henna paste with a butter knife. You can apply some olive oil on top of the dried paste to help you with this process.
▪︎Step 3 - Immediately apply and moisturize it using a natural shea or cocoa butter, coconut or olive oil, or a natural lip balm, and keep doing so every day, specially before and after bath. Avoid using Vaseline, mineral oils, scrubs, soaps or detergents, and chlorine.
▪︎Step 4 - Do Not wash your tattoo! Keep it away from water for at least 12 to 24 hours, as it interferes with the staining process and it will make it fade away quicker.
▪︎Step 5 - Allow 24 to 48 hours for the color to fully develop. Stain color will depend on the type of your skin.
▪︎Step 6 - Your henna design can last from 1 up to 2 weeks if well maintained.
