The Lost Company does not have a unique focus tree nor any unique events or decisions, I love playing nations like this because it gives me full freedom to do what I want. However, I still followed canon lore while writing and playing, which currently is:
1. They are stratocratic
2. Their leader is David Dresden
3. Most of them are mercenaries
4. They do not take any steps to fight opium
5. There is a strong anarchist movement in TLC and a small Libertarian one
6. They begin the game at war with the Taliban


This video is filled with cuts due to me deleting almost all noncombat footage and all autosaves.

Script:
By 2036 army reorganization was halfway finished, Uzbekistan was considered to be the ideal ground to test it, but a consultation with the Russians made it clear they would intervene, so an alternative nation Iraq was chosen.

While TLC and Iraq shared a border, it was short, so an unrecognized state of Kurdistan was invaded to widen it, Kurdistan was isolated diplomatically and had a weak industrial base, which caused its army to be overruned in 6 days with 1 to 53 casualty ratio.

However TLC expansion did not go unnoticed, it drove Jordan and Iraq to join the Siaudi-led defense alliance Peninsula Shield Force or PSF. Worryingly more neighboring countries were looking to join and according to military intelligence, PSF forces were already stronger at the border.

This threat had to be stopped before it could grow any further, so a plan was hatched to attack Iraq. In case PSF were to respond it would let them attack TLC held highly defensible positions in Iran, until PSF supply lines would be stretched and forces depleted enough to counter attack and encircle them. construction began on a central Iran fortification line, in case TLC forces were routed.

Invasion of Iraq commenced on January 2037, just as predicted PSF forces responded and began an offensive that succeifully pushed TLC armies east.


By the end of May PSF offensive grinded to a halt, and a limited TLC counterattack began with an aim to encircle PSF forces in eastern Khuzestan, with 32 divisions encircled it succeeded then TLC forces advanced up to the Tigris River were after some hard battles crossing it near Basra, from there, an offensive began into Western Iraq, intending to encircle and destroy main PSF forces in it.

After some harsh battles, 30 divisions were encircled southeast of Bagdad and soon it and the rest of Iraq were conquered. A march south to Saudi Arabias capital Ryhad began, though Syria attempted to interrupt it with its entry into the war


By March of 2038, PSF armies were crushed on all fronts, TLC units were entering Saudi Arabia's capital Riyad, victory was mere weeks away. Then disaster struck then almost all remaining neutral neighboring countries joined anti-TLC coalition.

All of the new fronts were covered, but it was done so by inferior-quality troops, who possessed no armored vehicles of any kind and lacked Anti Tank weapons.

The western army was split in half, one half was sent to reinforce the east other attempted to establish a new defensive line in central Iraq. However its retreat was chaotic, and many divisions were caught in encirclements, those who retreated were soon outflanked and forced to retreat to the Central Iran line.



The eastern situation was deteriorating quickly, Uzbekistan captured Caspian sea ports which allowed Turkey to send troops through them wich were instrumental in the capture of TLC main industry and manpower hub, Kabul.

It was on May 2038 then David Dresden finally realized that the war was lost, after his suicide remaining TLC forces gradually surrendered, in the end war lasted  1 year and 7 months and claimed over 5 and a half million lives



In the ensuing peace deal  Central Asian borders were completely redrawn along ethnic lines Tajikistan and Afghanistan were treated as TLC cobelligerents, and both lost land, the latter was almost completely annexed into Pakistan.

Weakened Iran was restored, Turkey gained all Kurdish majority areas of Iraq and Iran, Iraq was compensated with region Khuzestan. Due to the devastation brought to Saudi Arabia Turkey became the undisputed hegemon of the Middle East.
