In today's video, we are talking smoked ham, specifically smoked pit ham, which stands for partially internally trimmed, and what that means is during processing they've gone ahead and removed the bone and hard internal fat. This smoked ham had every I wanted in a ham, great flavor, great moisture, and a wonderfully smokey flavor! This ham is the easiest ham you will ever make, hands down! | Ingredients |

-Compart Family Farms full country pit ham
-1/4 cup orange juice
-1/4 cup bourbon
-1/4 cup good maple syrup
-3/4 cup dark brown sugar

| Instructions |

Prep:

1. Remove the smoked pit ham from the packaging, and put on a wire rack in an aluminum pan.

| Cooking |

1. Set your smoker temp to 275° F, and put the pit ham on the smoker.

2. After 1.5 hours, get a meat probe into the ham to ensure you don't overcook the smoked ham. I opted to use the ‪@MEATER‬ Plus wireless thermometer for easy monitoring while I'm away from the smoker. MEATER+: https://amzn.to/3YuQdmS

3. Once the smoked ham reaches an internal temperature of 130-135° F, it's time to glaze. I prepared my glaze per the video instructions when there was about 20 minutes left in the cook, and when the smoked pit ham was 135° F internal.

4. Pour the glaze all over the smoked ham, and allow the ham to continue cooking until it reaches 140° F internal.

5. Once the smoked ham has reached 140° F, remove from the smoker and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

6. Once the ham has rested, slice and enjoy!!
