Wash well 2 to 3 times with water and drain. Take a clean cloth and transfer the washed and drained chanas to the center of the cloth. Tie the chanas in the cloth and keep aside till 12 hours. Open and check after 12 hours. The chanas should start to sprout. Wash the sprouted chanas gently 2 to 3 times and drain the water. Tie them again in a cloth and check again in 12 hours. If the chanas sprout to your desire, you can wash them 2 to 3 times, drain water and have them as you like. If you want them to sprout more, after washing and draining, tie them in the cloth again and keep them for 12 more hours. In 24 to 36 hours, the chanas should sprout very well.
