Headaches are probably one of the most common medical complaints almost everyone experiences at some point of time.And sadly, tension headaches are the most frequent types of headaches we suffer.

As we stay upright and work the whole day, we tend to hold a lot of tension in our neck, shoulders and upper-back . The tension in these muscles constricts the flow of blood to the head. Overtime, as the head receives less blood, the muscles go into a spasm and certain chemical are released that cause headache.

This yoga practice is aimed at reducing stress and relieving tension. We will practice asanas that help in relaxing the neck and shoulder muscles, increase blood flow to the head and reduce stress. We will also do a short breathing exercise that will help in creating a sense of calmness. Hope you enjoy the practice!!
