Welcome to the grand return of ASICS racing. Last year's Metaracer was fine, but it wasn't blowing anyone's mind. Put a helmet on, 'cause the METASPEED Sky is ready to crash your cranium. Part of a fraternal twin combo (with the cadence-oriented METASPEED Edge), this has everything you want and nothing that you don't. The bouncy AF (but not soft) FLYTEFOAM BLAST TURBO midsole, the rockered geometry, the carbon plate, the light weight – it's all there. Oh, the outsole (lifted from their trail line) is super grippy too. Anyway, what the hell am I going on about? Watch the review.
