భక్తకోటి జయజయధ్వానాల నడుమ పూరీ జగన్నాథ రథయాత్ర తొలిరోజు అంగరంగ వైభవంగా జరిగింది. సంప్రదాయ క్రతువులన్నీ పూర్తైన తర్వాత..జగన్నాథుడు, బలభద్ర, సుభద్ర రథాలపై గుండిచాదేవి మందిరానికి.... బయలుదేరారు. రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపది ముర్ము భక్త కోటితో కలిసి.... రథాలను లాగారు. జగన్నాథుని నవయవ్వన దర్శనం, నేత్రోత్సవం, రథయాత్ర ఒకే రోజు రావడంతో...... రథయాత్రను మధ్యలోనే నిలిపివేశారు. సోమవారం జగన్నాథుడి రథయాత్ర పునఃప్రారంభంకానుంది.
