We designed Finale version 26
We designed Finale version 26 to help you quickly produce the music of your imagination.
With this goal in mind, we’ve overhauled and expanded both the expression and articulation libraries included with Finale.
These libraries are now much more comprehensive, while still being succinct enough that you can find what you’re looking for.
We made sure to take care of details, like making tempo markings impact playback, so you don’t have to.
Handwritten templates now focus less on Italian expressions and more practical, everyday items you might see in the studio or on the stage.
Articulation libraries have been similarly transformed. We’ve defined stacking order, fine-tuned appearances, and tweaked placement.
For example, things like jazz articulations automatically position correctly.
We’ve also refined default shortcuts, so C enters a crescendo and D a diminuendo.
All of these changes were made to minimize the need for you to add articulations or expressions to either library - and to save you time.
