The polyrhythmic is another one of those "fabric" type textures, built up of many different instruments in the orchestra each doing their own little thing. When the various licks, motives and phrases all combine together you get a rich layered atmosphere. It's more like an ambience or soundscape than a melody with accompaniment.
We'll start by talking about what the texture is, take a look at an example from Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor, and then put the theory to use by actually applying the texture to the main theme from Breath of the Wild.
