Jeera Rice in restaurant style (Aromatic cumin rice preparation):
Basmati rice  cooked with cumin(Jeera) seeds and other aromatic spices make this dish wonderful.

Ingredients:
Basmati rice: 200 grams
chopped coriander & Mint leaves: 1/2 bunch
Cumin seeds: 2 table spoons
Salt to taste:
Sliced green chillies: 10
Whole spices(cloves:5, Green cardamom:5, cinnamon sticks:2, black cardamom:2)
Butter/Ghee: 3 table spoons

Direction:
Heat the butter/Ghee toss the whole spices and cumin seeds for about 30 seconds. Then add green chillies and cook for about a minute. Then add coriander and mint leaves add 6 cups of water for 3 cups of rice. boil the water add 1 table spoon salt. Once the water is boiled add the rice and cook it, Salt must be checked and adjust according to the taste. We need to cook the rice until the water is almost evaporated, leave little moisture in the rice add few drops of orange food colour this is optional. cover the vessel with lid and cook it for about 6 mins on low flame. Jeera rice will be ready.

This Jeera rice goes nice with dal, Kaju masala or any sort of chicken curries.
