How to get out of the Chiang Mai airport to the old city (taxi, shuttle, car rental, Grab/Bolt), getting a SIM card, getting Thai baht from money exchange booths vs ATMs, and even bum guns! We will give you some tips and tricks in getting around Chiang Mai and saving time and money. We’ve got your first hour here covered and get you off to a smooth start getting you out of the Chiang Mai international airport.
We will also cover arriving from the Chiang Mai train station, where there are songtows, or you can rent a motorcycle - or call a Grab or Bolt if you arrived with a Thai SIM card.
