On the occasion of Prān
On the occasion of Prān Pratishthāpan of Sri Rama Lalla at Ayodhya on January 22nd, 2024..... I feel immensely happy to share this as an offering to Lord Sri Rama.
"Bhavayami Raghuramam" is a Magnum Opus created by Sri Swathi Tirunal Maharaja. This includes six charanams which describes each Kāndams corresponding to Sri Valmiki Ramayana viz., Bāla, Ayodya, Aranya, Kishkinda, Sundara and Yuddha Kānda respectively.
This was originally composed in Raga Saveri but was recently tuned as a ragamalika by Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer in Saveri, Nattaikuranji, Dhanyasi, Mohanam, Mukhari, Purvikalyani and Madhyamavathi for rendering each charanam.
