Muhoozi: I have no interest in becoming president

Newly promoted head of the Special Forces Command Maj. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who is also the son of President Yoweri Museveni, has dismissed talk that his father is preparing him to take over. Gen. Muhoozi who spoke to NTV on the sidelines of the pipping ceremony of newly promoted army officers, said he doesn’t harbor presidential ambitions and was focussed on building his military career. This is the first time Muhoozi speaks out on the long running claim that his father was grooming him for Uganda’s top job.
