1953 Gibson SJ 200 Custom With CA Girl Hardshell Case: This is such an amazing Gibson acoustic guitar. I fell in love with it almost a year before buying it. It needed some repairs that the shop had done before I got to see it again. The luthiers from Oregon repaired two top cracks and several side cracks. They did an outstanding job and doesn't detract from the beauty of this fine guitar. The guitar has as beautiful a voice as it looks. The Jumbo Size body projects chrystal clear highs and beautiful lows as it should. I play a Vintage Gibson Country Western and this guitar projects slightly above the sound of that guitar. It is bold and in your face. The beautiful Spruce top and Maple Back and sides are incredible as is the custom double pickguard from Gibson. This guitar has been played a lot as the finger wear on the back of the neck shows. Numerous nicks, dings and scratches but again, nothing you would not expect on a 60 year old guitar. The case is something to behold as well. It has mellowed on the exterior to show there is something special inside. The Pink California Girl Plush lining is beautiful. All latches and hinges work perfectly and the original handle is present as well. This guitar is very rare by just being a 1953 J200 but with the custom double Pickguard, you will never see another like it. You will not be disappointed in this guitar outfit.
