Potato rava fry is a very easy and simple recipe. This is a good option for those who don’t eat non veg specially fish. Surmai rava fry is very popular and favourite dish in non veg lovers. You can replace potato with suran or raw bananas. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 big Potato
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1/2 tsp Garam masala
• Rock salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Water
• Fine Rava
• Red chili powder
• Rock salt to taste
• Oil for shallow frying
Method:
• Wash and peel the potato.
• Cut potato into little thick slices.
• In a bowl take red chili powder.
• Add garam masala, rock salt, cumin powder, coriander leaves and mix everything well together.
• Add a little water and mix well.
• Coat the slices with the masala paste.
• Take rava in a bowl.
• Add red chili powder, rock salt and mix everything well together.
• Coat the potato slices well with rava form both sides and keep them aside.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Transfer the potato slices into the pan and fry well from both sides.
• When potato slices are fried well from lower side, flip them over and fry well from other side
too.
• When done form both sides take them off the pan into a dish.
• If you want to make these for upwas then replace rava with varai flour.
• Potato fry is all ready.
