hello! I'm "Baking Again Today". 😊

Today, I made whipped cream castella, one of the representative desserts of Starbucks in Korea.
I added milk flavor and made it into a milk cream castella with a rich milk flavor. ^^

The really moist and soft castella was filled with rich milk-flavored milk cream, and it was much better than the Starbucks fresh cream castella!
This castella was really, really delicious.
For reference, if you let the castella ripen at room temperature for a day and then eat it with cream, it will be more moist and delicious!

🥛 whipped cream castella 🥛

▶ Ingredients ◀ Enough for 3 ultra-mini round pans with a diameter of 10cm and a height of 7cm.
🔥 Preheat to 338℉(170℃), bake at 320℉(160℃) for 26-27 minutes


✏ Castella dough
180g eggs
95g sugar
1g salt
20g honey
3g vanilla extract
100g cake flour
35g milk
35g canola oil or grape seed oil (olive oil is not acceptable)


✏ Milk whipped cream
280g whipped cream (animal whipped cream or animal whipped cream. x for vegetable whipped cream)
60g mascarpone cheese
35g sugar

If you do not have mascarpone cheese
280g fresh cream
35g condensed milk
20g sugar



Sugar powder (can be omitted)



◼ Storage method ◼
- Keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days. If you age castella without cream for a day at room temperature and then add cream to it, it will be more moist and delicious.
