In this video a wooden gear clock is made using a shop built CNC router.

The shop built CNC router was designed by Michael Simpson. He calls it the KRMx02. The plan is available at his web site: http://www.kronosrobotics.com/krmx02
The reddish hardwood used is "Paduak".
The 1/4" plywood used for gears is Finnish Birch Plywood from Woodcraft.
Also used are European Beech and Birch solid hardwoods.
A separate video is planned for a stand to display the clock. I will add the link here when available.
