Dangerous Dog Appeals Hearing - Dogo Argentino Attack

On January 19, 2019, a large, unaltered Dogo argentino named "Archi" escaped its owner's property and brutally attacked a man jogging on Amestoy Avenue in Los Angeles. The victim suffered severe injuries. In March, the dog was declared a Dangerous Animal due to the attack. On May 28, an appeals hearing was held. The victim gives powerful testimony. The dog hit him so hard from behind, that he somersaulted and landed on his back. Then the dog began tearing into his flesh. One of the most interesting aspects about the appeals hearing is that commissioners tell the dog owner's attorney a number of times, "You are not helping your case."
According to Archi's Foundation Stock Service certificate by the AKC, the sire, dam and breeder information is below:
SIRE: Othello Nelson De La Cocha
DAM: Chucara De La Patagonia
BREEDER: Jordan Dickson
The certificate was issued "after" the attack, on January 21, 2019.

In 2018, Dogo Argentinos killed two women in the United States. The owners of the dogs in both cases was the husband who was breeding the dog.
