In this copycat recipe, you can recreate Subway's Meatball Sandwich in under an hour and just by using some of your usual pantry staples! Make your meatballs from scratch, prepare your sauce and assemble your own sandwich depending on your liking!

Ingredients:
For Meatballs:
9 oz ground pork
9 oz ground beef
1½ oz breadcrumbs, store-bought or homemade
2 tbsp red onions, minced
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp salt
Cooking spray
For Sandwich:
1 lb marinara sauce
1 French baguette, cut into 3 slices
1½ cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

0:09 Preheat your oven to 360 degrees F & grease a baking tray with cooking spray.
Meatballs:
0:16 Combine all its ingredients in a bowl and mix until evenly incorporated.
0:48 Shape these into roughly 3 ounces of meatballs, then place these on your greased baking tray, inches apart from each other. You should have at least 9 pieces.
0:56 Transfer to the oven and roast for roughly 20 minutes or until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
0:58 Heat up a skillet with marinara sauce. Add the meatballs into this and simmer for roughly 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
To assemble:
1:18 Toast your baguette and slice diagonally.
1:31 On your toasted baguette, spread the now-reduced marinara sauce around then sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
1:45 Line up your meatballs on top, then sprinkle to cover with cheddar cheese.
