In this video, I was a novice when it came to ingesting Dextromethorphan (DXM, skittles). It was my third time tripping on the substance. I started with full bottle of Delsym, was high on that, then a friend came over with a sheet of triple C's (Coricidin, CCC). Because I wasn't accustomed to the strength of the drug, I went ahead and took an entire sheet on top of the Delsym. I blacked out, couldn't speak, had no motor control, and needed constant support for over 12 hours. This video shows the beginning of the trip when I could still sit upright and mutter words. But you can already see signs of the physical and neurological distress that are occurring. The slow blink of my eye, a side-effect that I noticed a decent number of times over the course of my use. Who the hell knows why that happens, but it's involuntary. Then there are the obvious side-effects: confusion, loss of most motor control.
I guess what I am saying is if you are absolutely going to trip on DXM: watch your dose, do some research, and make sure that you are getting products that ONLY contain DXM without any other chemicals. Side note: avoid triple C's, Coricidin, because it has definite links with heart issues and hospital visits---true fact, I'm a witness! As someone who tripped on this drug ~300x during my use period, don't combine it with other drugs because your body is already handling a lot. And And AND, don't make it habitual. I truly believe that I still have some negative health issues as a result of my self-medicating with DXM. Trip responsibly. And don’t suppress your CNS too much, y’all.
