Learn to make Kratos Fly
Learn to make Kratos Fly with the "Jet Dash" flying technique. I've had a lot of messages asking how to do it, but Im not the best at giving instructions using only text, so I did this vid up to answer the question.
This video is aimed at people that are picking up the controls of a PS3 for the first time. So this is a VERY basic tutorial, no finer details here. I'll also leave out as to why this works.
Its a very easy jump to do, but very powerfull. And it's very forgiving in terms of timing. So you can mess up my button sequence below and still be able to pull off the jump.
Instructions on how to do the "Jet Dash":
1. Take a run up and do a double jump off a ledge.
2. At the height of the double jump move the Right-stick and Left-stick in the direction you want to go. (Kratos will 1 single "Dash")
3. Just as he is about to finish his "Dash", press L2 and LEAVE IT PRESSED. (You will leave it pressed the entire time)
4. Press the "Square" button repeatedly.
Thats it!
If you're having trouble with the longer jump, try the shorter jump at the start of the vid:
1. Double jump off the ledge.
2. At the top of the double jump, move Right and Left stick in the direction you want to go. Press L2(AND LEAVE IT PRESSED DOWN the whole time). You'll see the jump take care of itself. In other words, this jump requires no continous pressing of any buttons while in the air.

Run up towards a ledge then, X, X, move R-stick and L-stick to required direction (and leave them in required direction the whole time), Leave L2 PRESSED Down WITHOUT letting go Square, Square, Square, Square, Square etc. etc.
