How to make your Kayak
How to make your Kayak unsinkable very easy. In this video, we overflow the kayak with water to see what happens. Then we insert pool noodles into the haul of the Kayak to see if it will sink. The goal is to figure out how to make the kayak unsinkable and make it a little DIY project. Please note, anything that floats can be used such as, plastic bottles, foam, pool noodles, or anything that fits in the haul of the kayak.
We use kayaks a lot to collect trash and hunt for lionfish. We needed to make our kayak safer and unsinkable. In this video we show you how you can accomplish that, DIY. We use pool noodles which are easy to work with and cheap. We purchased these noodles at a local dollar store. We used a total of 23 pool noodles for this video but are will be adding another 10 more to the kayak before our next trip to make it more stable. Check back for more videos.
