Benefits of reciting Ya Qadir
Meaning
The All Powerful
The All Capable
He Who is Able to do Everything
The All Competent
.........
The One who possesses the power and the ability to measure-out anything and everything. The One who has the capability to make any decree and to determine what will be. The One whose decree determines the measure and distribution of all things. The One who does as He wills, acting or not acting in accord with whatever He decides.
Quran
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْيَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ بَلَىٰ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent. (46:33)
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ
Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead? (75:40)
ۗقُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰ أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ
Say, "He is the [one] Able to send upon you affliction from above you or from beneath your feet or to confuse you [so you become] sects and make you taste the violence of one another." (6:65)
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ أَجَلًا لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَأَبَى الظَّالِمُونَ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse [anything] except disbelief. (17:99)
وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا
And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation]. (25:54)
وَانظُرْ إِلَى الْعِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْمًا ۚ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
And look at the bones - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent." (2:259)
وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ
And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal. (6:91)
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. (77:23)
إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ
Indeed, all things We created with predestination. (54:49)
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. (97:1)
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent. (3:189)
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ
Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Competent. (16:70)
الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination. (25:2)
قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰ أَن يُنَزِّلَ آيَةً وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Say, "Indeed, Allah is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know." (6:37)
إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا
Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent. (35:44)
إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. (86:8)

Quran
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْيَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ بَلَىٰ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent. (46:33)
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ
Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead? (75:40)
ۗقُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰ أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ

And look at the bones - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent." (2:259)
وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ
And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal. (6:91)
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. (77:23)
إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ
Indeed, all things We created with predestination. (54:49)
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. (97:1)
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ
Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Competent. (16:70)

Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. (86:8)
