Travis discusses and runs through the Carbine manipulation block of the Haley Strategic Combat Effectiveness test (CET) using the Haley Strategic Train: Performance Target.
All shot from 5 or 10 yards.
Proactive/Tac load on up command fire 5rds the S&A. on buzzer conduct proactive load within 6 sec par time.
Speed reload (1 reload 1) on buzzer fire 1st rd. reload and fire 2nd rd. in 4 sec par time (relaxed ready position)
Failure to feed/fire With a loaded magazine and no rd. in the chamber. On buzzer attempt to fire then tap rack and fire 2rds in 3 sec par time. (relaxed ready position)
Stove pipe With a set up stove pipe. On buzzer attempt to fire then clear malfunction and fire 2rds in 3 sec par time. (relaxed ready position)
Double feed With a double feed set up. On buzzer attempt to fire then clear malfunction and fire 2rds in 6 sec par time. (relaxed ready position)
Transition to Handgun On buzzer fire 1 rd from the carbine putting the carbine into a bolt lock. Transition and frie 1 rd from the Handgun in 3 sec. After the Handgun shot assess the condition of the carbine, re holster handgun and get the carbine back into action.

The goal is to maximize the efficiencies in training by increasing the usage of one target while cutting the time involved in re-pasting or - re-stapling multiple targets. Ideal for indoor and outdoor range training.
