scm balestrini pico om - a real little machining centre

Balestrini pico om is the small "all-purpose" machine allowing operations at the work-piece ends (tenoning, cutting-off, multiple drilling) on the front worktable and at the work-piece sides (multiple slot mortising, routing and drilling) on the rear worktable, for an extremely flexible production of legs, crosspieces and chairbacks in solid wood.
The operating unit, made of a 4,5 kW tenoning unit and a 2 kW double-ended mortising unit, enables to produce tenons and mortises with a reduced number of passes.
The "Infinity" work cycle allows to process up to 720 tenons/h, using the interpolation of the two NC axes for pendulum machining without interruptions.
The worktables set-up is easy, thanks to the presence of adjustable handles. It is possible to settle manually the rotation of the work-piece support guide and the tilting of each worktable. The work-piece length is fixed by a rear reference stop.
The Jig Free Compact devices enables the locking of curved work-pieces on a single worktable, the work-piece reference is defined in a simple way with two stops fixed to the sides of the worktable.
The 21,5” touchscreen eye-M console allows to use the Maestro active joint software. The new Human-Machine Interface, with an extremely simple and effective graphic, enables to select numerous macros for tenons, holes and mortises programming. The exclusive Smart Pro Lite CAD/CAM software makes balestrini pico om a fully-fledged machining centre, requiring a small budget and reduced footprint.
