This video looks at the history of California. It begins with its first inhabitants, explains why it had the most dense population other than Mexico in pre-Columbian times, it then looks at why it had such a late colonization, how it became part of Mexico and then of the US. It then looks at its transformation since the Gold Rush and its current tech hub status.
