Philips, known as a capable brand in terms of LED lights and small kitchen appliances. In fact, I never really knew that Philips had sold a line of fans before in Indonesia. I've only ever known that a Turbo brand fan was claimed to be a Philips brand. Until one day, at a flea market, I found this beast covered in clear plastic and slightly dirty, but still functioning normally. The seller claimed this fan was an ex-display item in a closed electronics shop, so it's still semi-new. After I checked, there were no signs of use, and it;'s still in pristine condition, except for the yellowed plastic body. After making an offer and agreeing, I finally brought it home.
So, here's a Phillips box fan model HR3391 from 1989. Basically, it's a box fan that you don't see every day. Starting from the counter-clockwise blade rotation, an original Philips brand fan, and don't forget the unique digital button to power the fan and set its speed. Talking about the digital button, at the top of this fan, there is a port or gap which I'm sure to place the remote control of it. Unfortunately, the seller has no clue where the original remote is, so it will probably be a massive struggle to find that remote replacement.
After trying and getting to know this fan deeper, I’m really sure that this beast was and still the cool prestige fan, where it had already used a wireless remote in the late 80s, had a sturdy, bulky, & fairly heavy body, and a powerful motor.
