Holi Special - Besan Gul
Holi Special - Besan Gul Poli | Instant Puranpoli
This recipe isn’t the authentic way of making a Puranpoli, however, tastes amazing and pretty much like the actual Puranpoli. It’s way simpler and time saving. You could use the coarse besan if you like a slight crunch, else use the fine kind for a smooth and soft texture.
Also, adjust the measure of the Jaggery as per your preference of sweetness.

Ingredients
~Servings : Makes 7 to 8
For Puran:
Besan - 1 Cup
Ghee - 1/4 Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Natural Jaggery - 1/2 Cup
Water - 4 Tbsps
For Dough:
Wheat Flour- 1 Cup
All Purpose Flour - 1/2 Cup
Salt - 1/4 Tsp
Ghee - 2 Tbsps
Turmeric- 1/2 Tsp
Water for kneading (Around 3/4 Cup)
