Whether you adore the Kinect for its interactivity or despise it for every other reason, there's a graveyard of rubbish games for the device. And then there are the games you WISH got made like the awesome fan parody Assassin's Creed Kinect by Hawk and Gamble. But the rubbish Kinect titles on this list are all real unfortunately.
5. Kinect Star Wars - LucasArts
Well, who didn't see this one coming? Not only did the game fail to impress anyone outside of the gimmick, but even the E3 footage sucked ass. And that dance game. That horrible, horrible dance game! Die-hard Star Wars fans are probably screaming at the fact that this isn't in first place. But believe us, there is much worse to come.
4. Fighter Within - Daoka
If you're going to try and kick off the launch of your new console and a new generation in style, it's probably not a good idea to give players a turd in a box. And that is exactly what Fighter Within is: a shiny turd on all measurable levels. Broken on a technical level and abysmal in every other way. The story, especially. Hey, at least it looks nice.
3. Hulk Hogan's Main Event - Panic Button
When all other ventures fail, make a video game! That's the Hulk Hogan way, after all. Doomed from the very first screenshots, Hulk Hogan's Main Event looks like shit, plays like shit and simply is shit. The game's only redemption is that it's so bad that it isn't good, but friggin' hilarious. Just look at it! Hulk Hogan never learns, does he?
2. Steel Battalion: Heavy Armour - From Software
Heavy Armour by name, heavy armour by nature. Because this game sure plays like it! The original Steel Battalion used a controller with forty buttons and two joysticks. And it was still a billion times easier to control than this hack-job. Put simply, the Kinect doesn't have a clue what you're doing. Which is always useful when that's what the game is centred around.
1. Sonic Free Riders - Sonic Team
Many will agree that Sonic has taken all kinds of questionable twists and turns in recent years. But this? There's literally no reason for this game to exist outside of an inside joke. Like all the very worst Kinect titles, here's something that could have been a great laugh but ended up as one supersonic fuck-up. This game is the reason why the Kinect has a voice command to turn the console off.
