The KR Puram-Whitefield Metro Rail
The KR Puram-Whitefield Metro Rail Line is a rapid transit system located in the city of Bangalore, India. This metro line is a part of the Namma Metro project, which is being developed by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). The KR Puram-Whitefield line is 12.75 km long and consists of 12 elevated stations.
The metro line starts at KR Puram, which is an important transportation hub located on the eastern outskirts of Bangalore. The station is connected to the city center by buses and trains, and is also close to the Outer Ring Road. From KR Puram, the metro line heads eastward towards the bustling tech hub of Whitefield.
The work on connection between KR Puram station and Byappanahalli station is in progress. They faced some issues regarding installation of gridlock over rail line. BMRCL said the connection would be open for public in June 2023. News is the KR Puram - Whitefield metro route is going to be inaugurated on March 25th by PM Modi and will open for public service from March 26th 2023.
The line passes through several important residential and commercial areas of Bangalore. These areas are home to several large IT parks and residential complexes, and the metro line provides a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for the thousands of commuters who travel to and from these areas every day. The list of stations are as follows:

The KR Puram-Whitefield Metro Rail Line is also expected to have a significant impact on traffic congestion in the region. With the growing number of vehicles on the roads, especially during peak hours, the metro line is a much-needed alternative mode of transportation.
