The Kings Highway Bridge dates back to 1697 commissioned by William Penn for easier passage across Pennypack Creek on the kings Highway which was part of an old Native American trail that spanned from New York into Philadelphia.

The Krewstown Road Bridge dates back to the early 1800s nestled right nest to a 90' high railroad bridge.

Both of these were stone arch bridges that have stood the test of time (among others in the Philadelphia area).
