We buy these boneless country style ribs very often. I use them to make carnitas, stews, crispy pork bites, and a ton of other dishes. Super useful for meal prepping as they are usually quite affordable, too! I also needed to use some bottled barbecue sauces that have been stashed in the pantry so I chose the two shown in the video. Sweet Baby Ray’s is always and winner and the Tabasco Habanero Jerk was a spicy surprise with awesome flavor. But you can use any flavors you prefer or even make your own homemade sauce to brush on the meat.

For my keto friends out there: Just swap in sugar-free seasoning and sauce to make this a keto recipe.

NOTE: Whenever I’m cooking extra fatty foods like ribs or bacon a lot of food renders out to the bottom of the basket. Continuing to cook multiple batches will cause the fat to burn and smoke. In between batches, I always pour out as much collected fat as possible and even add a couple tablespoons of water to keep the smoking at bay. This does the trick every time!

Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6-in-1 6-Quart Large Air Fryer: https://amzn.to/3JUrDam

Today’s Ingredients:
3 lbs boneless pork country style ribs
2 TB evoo
3-4 TB barbecue seasoning of your choice (McCormick’s Grillmates in the video)
½ – 1 cup barbecue sauce of your choice (Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey Chipotle in the video)

Instructions:
   1. In a large mixing bowl rub the pork thoroughly with oil and barbecue seasoning. Cover and allow to marinate at room temperature for 30-60 minutes. [You can also marinate in the refrigerator overnight, taking it out an hour before cooking.]
   2. Preheat the air fryer to 375°.
   3. Place the pork into the basket in a single layer leaving enough space around each piece to allow for easy air flow. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding. Cook at 375° for 30 minutes, flipping once at the halfway point.
   4. Brush barbecue sauce over the top of each piece. Increase heat to 400° and cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is caramelized to your liking. Flip repeat for the other side. Check after the first 3 minutes on each side to watch for burning. Move completed pieces to a serving dish and repeat steps 3 and 4 for other batches. [NOTE: In between batches, pour out excess fat and add 2 tablespoons water to prevent smoking.]
   5. Serve and ENJOY!
