This is part of the "Let's try it!" series where I try out new craft kits, crafting tools and materials.

In this video I am testing out the shrink plastic/ shrinky dink from Daiso. Daiso is a dollar store from Japan and they sell so many crafting materials at just SGD2.

What is so special about this shrink plastic sheet is that you can print images using your inkjet printer. You can also draw on it using colour pencils. Remember to cut it to shape before shrinking it in a toaster oven/ hot air gun.

If you wish to make a key chain, please punch a hole before shrinking the plastic.

In this review/ tutorial, I am making a pin using  my pet doggie's photograph and just in time for the lunar new year!

Other than the plastic sheets, you will also need:
Scissors
Aluminium foil
Two part epoxy resin glue (hardware store)
Brooch pin (Daiso or online craft stores)
Craft hot air gun (Qoo10) or toaster oven
UV resin (hard type) (Daiso or online craft stores)
UV lamp (optional)
