Hey Guy’s! Welcome back to my channel. In today’s video I show you how to level up your canned boiled peanuts.
I can barley get away without making these for the girls at least once a month they love them so much but so do I.
I’ve seasoned them with ham hocks, smoked turkey tails and smoked turkey necks. The hocks are my favorite because they hold up better despite the fact that I cook them for 14 hours. The smoked turkey necks come in at number 2 but you won’t be able to eat the meat because they break down so much. The smoked turkey tails are my least favorite. They cook down to nothing at all and the flavor isn’t as strong.
If you love your peanuts soft and creamy like they are at the gas station that you normally buy them from, follow this simple recipe and you will never have to buy them from the gas station again. You will love them and that’s a promise.

1,  6 Pound Can of Cajun Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts.
3 Large Ham Hocks
1 Tablespoon Slap Ya Mama Seasoning, this is totally optional and the next time I make them I will not be adding it to my peanuts. I’m watching my salt intake and it made them too salty for me.
Wash the ham hocks and place them in the crockpot. Add the Slap Ya Mama Seasoning if you choose to. Dump the can of peanuts into the crockpot. Add water to the rim and cover. Cook on high for 14 hours and then enjoy 😉
