Easily clear gutters with this DIY Gutter cleaning tools that allows you to safely and easily clean your gutters from the ground. Turn your shop vac into a gutter vacuum system with a few pieces of PVC pipe and fixings. Gutter vacuum cleaner saves you money every time you need to have your gutters cleaned. Gutter vacuuming with a shop vac is an easy way to clean those gutters without climbing a ladder multiple times, which can be time consuming and sometimes dangerous. (it can also be scary for those that are don't like heights) This is a cheap gutter cleaning method that works well and can save today's homeowner money every year.
Remember to secure the connectors with the PVC cement for secure fittings.
Materials needed to build a DIY Gutter Vacuum:
PVC Cement
2 - in PVC pipe. I used Schedule 40. length needed varies per height of house.
2- in x 2 in dia X 90 degree elbow. 2 pieces.
2 - in flexible coupling.
Male and Female 2 - in pipe connectors. Will vary per height of house. ( I have 3 connections)
Shop vac - remember to install the deflector and remove the filter.
Remember to secure the connectors with the PVC cement for secure fittings.
