Building and testing a homemade
Building and testing a homemade wet/dry vacuum gutter cleaning attachment, made for less than $25. No more ladders, I can now safely clean my gutters from the ground. Central vacuum tubing is key to building a light weight attachment, both sections weigh only 2.5 pounds combined! I considered buying an attachment (too expensive) or making one that connects to a garden hose (too messy) but I ultimately decided on this design which works really well for both 1 and 2 story houses. See the links below for the parts and tools I used:
*Over 3 years later, I figured I'd do a follow-up video to better show the ease of use as well as answer the most common questions I've received over the years: • UPDATE: Gutter Vac (3+ Years Later)
**If you're having trouble finding the central vacuum tubing or fittings, call your local electrical supply store.
