Fancy painting but don't know how to get started? Today you can let off steam. And you can do it right from the first layer of paint. Because today you'll be putting your green onto the canvas without a care in the world. Just dip your brush into your paint and get started. Paint big sweeps, small circles or just strokes. It doesn't matter. Just scribble all over the canvas and let your thoughts run free. Then use this sponge on a stick (*)see link:

and take the colour away again. Such beautiful patterns emerge from your own movement. Take the freedom on the canvas and enjoy it. I then let the paint dry briefly. You can certainly leave it as it is or, like me, continue painting. The next layers of paint become more colourful. This is how an abstract flower artwork gradually came into being. It could be peonies or ranunculus? Fortunately, in abstract painting you don't have to reproduce your motifs true to nature. Have fun painting.

You can use a window squeegee to apply the paint, or a plastic spatula or the dough scraper, as you already know.
