You can paint this picture very easily, with a simple tool from the household. It is wonderfully suitable for beginners. The sponge is soft and you can create beautiful effects with it. Through the layers you get depth in the picture. You always work with lots of lines. It is best to use several sponges at once, because as you can see in the video, I suddenly have green in the picture, because the sponge was not clean. But I was able to wipe it off right away. The theme of the painting: The evening before we had a painting class on how to make a surface interesting just by using color, area and line. As you can see in the video, I can simply apply the paint. Because of the choice of colour I have easy play (in the true sense ;) . On page 78 of the book you will find instructions where this video can help you. The line through all layers always forms a connection. It is as if it wants to bring order into chaos. But at the same time you can let out the scribbling, your possible mess in your head, just by walking through the line. Because you can only plan a fun factor here. You can leave the thinking somewhere else.
At the end of the video I will show you how to prepare your workplace.
Turquoise, dark green, white and blue grey are the main colours. A little ochre gives the picture warmth. Pink and pink loosen up the surface. Transitions are wiped but also structures give the surfaces an evenly uneven picture.
Afterwards I will briefly introduce the book to you, maybe you are interested in more of my work. Have a look at the canal. There are many more abstract, like representational pictures as instructions. Also painting on aluminium foil or a rescue blanket you will find here. Let yourself be relaxed about the painting.
