Leapmotor's first model for the global market, C10, has been officially launched. The vehicle is built based on the "Clover" centrally integrated electronic and electrical architecture. It offers two power options: extended range and pure electric power. It is equipped with Lidar and is expected to have high-end assisted driving capabilities.
Leapmoon C10 continues the family-style design concept, with transition-type light strip and wide front perimeter shape, trapezoidal heat dissipation vent at the bottom, and folded corners on both sides add a sense of power. The side profile of the car is smooth, the window frame is equipped with a gloss black finish and it uses hidden door handles and 20-inch wheels.
The rear of the car is equipped with a crossover-type light strip, and the taillight design has been optimized to make it more recognizable. Additionally, designs such as spoilers and duck tails have been added to the tail. There is a lidar on the roof and front fenders, exterior mirrors, etc. There are multiple cameras. The car is expected to support high-end assisted driving functions.
The entire vehicle is equipped with a total of 30 auxiliary driving equipment, including 12 cameras, 5 millimeter wave radar, 12 ultrasonic radar and 1 lidar, which can support urban/high-speed NAP navigation and expand to L3 intelligent driving capabilities via OTA.
Leapmotor's future new products will apply 800-volt platform silicon carbide technology and provide three oil-cooled electric drive technologies. The maximum power of a single motor ranges from 170 kilowatts to 250 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 320 N·m-360 N. Future Zero Sports models will also adopt CTC 2.0 technology and be compatible with 800V/4C supercharging technology. 10 minutes of charging will increase the range by 200 kilometers.
The introduced Leapmotor C10 is the first model of this platform. This architecture integrates the cockpit area, intelligent driving area, power area and fuselage area, and uses a centralized supercomputing platform to combine the two chips to achieve efficient cooperation. The architecture also includes flexible sharing of the platform, providing four different sharing and collaboration methods.
Over the next two years, Leapmotor is expected to launch 5 models in four major global markets including Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and America.
