To prepare invert syrup at home, we need nothing at all - 4 ingredients and a thick-bottomed pan. Go!
sugar 700 g
hot water 290 g
citric acid 4 g
Mix everything in a saucepan. Heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Close the lid tightly, reduce the heat to minimum (do not boil, but simmer). We time it for 20 minutes and don’t touch it. Turn off the fire. Add:
baking soda 3 g
Mix thoroughly until everything bubbles and foams. Leave for 20-25 minutes. Pour into an airtight container. Let's use it!
