The Jefferson Curl is an exercise that has steadily grown on me and has become a staple in my deadlift days.

I've come to love the Jefferson Curl because it allows me to prep my back for heavy deadlifts in the context of using it for warm-ups, and for accessories, it allows me to train my back through a greater degree of flexion.

If you're new to Jefferson Curls, then I'd highly suggest starting light and using a tempo to really learn and lock down this movement.

In the day and age of overly set and rigid backs, we rarely get to train the back through a nice large degree of flexion.

If you're looking for an exercise to help you prep for deadlifts or build the back's resiliency as a whole, the Jefferson Curl can be a great option to go with.
