Sir Edward Elgar is renowned as England’s greatest composer, and it was the magnificent landscape around The Malverns that inspired so much of his music. Whether you’re a classical music fan or you just like to see the spectacular scenery that is The Malvern Hills, this film is for you, set to two of Elgar's greatest compositions..
Nimrod is the 9th (and best) of Elgar's 14 'Variations'. The beginning is laden with anticipation, starting quietly and getting louder to build expectation. He creates and resolves tension in the mid-part, then he lifts us up to our emotional peak, before calming things down, leaving us both relieved and emotionally exhausted. Fantastic!
'Pomp and Circumstance March', written in May 1901. it is the 4th of 5 Miltary Marches that were commissioned. it is full of the pride and swagger that epitomises Britain during the  turn of the century.

A couple of drone shots were incorporated into this film, but the drone took off and landed from outside of the land controlled by The Malvern Hill Conservators, and at all times complied with CAA requirements.
