This video is my July
This video is my July 2023 walk of the entire length of The Malvern Hills ridge (Worcestershire, UK).
My walk starts at the southern end of the ridge on Chase End Hill near Hollybush and finishes on End Hill near West Malvern at the northern end of the ridge.
The route was very ‘up and down’ and I topped; Chase End Hill, Ragged Stone Hill, Midsummer Hill, Swinyard Hill, Hangman’s Hill, Millennium Hill, Herefordshire Beacon, Black Hill, Pinnacle Hill, Jubilee Hill, Perseverance Hill, Summer Hill, Worcestershire Beacon, Sugarloaf Hill, North Hill, Table Hill and finally End Hill.
We visit the hamlet of Whiteleaved Oak which is located on the border of the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Also the hill-forts on Midsummer Hill and Herefordshire Beacon which is known as British Camp. Between the two hill-forts runs the Shire Ditch an ancient boundary defined by a ‘ditch and ridge’ and it is now the boundary of the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
The walk is one I’ve complete a long, long, long time ago but I walked it then from north to south.
