Hotel style peanut  channa dal chutney:
This is an Awesome dish goes with Dosa, Idly, Uthappam, Bonda.. what not any sort of the south indian breakfast dishes.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup of channa dal
3/4 cup of peanuts
oil: 3 to 4 table spoons
Cumin seeds: 1/2 table spoon
Garlic: Roughly chopped 3 cloves
Curry leaves: few
Green chillies: 6
Tamarind: small quantity
Mustard seeds: 1/2 table spoon
urad Dhal: 1/2 table spoon
Whole red chillies: 3
Salt to taste
Direction:
Heat the pan add 3 table spoons of oil, keep the flame on medium,
Add chopped garlic to the heated oil, also add cumin seeds saute for a min then add green chillies reduce the flame to low,  cook it for 1 more minute. Then add curry leaves add little amount of salt then add channa dal and peanuts. fry these ingredients for about 4 to 5 minutes until the channa dhal slowly turns into brown colour.
Then add these ingredients to a blender add a glass of water and tamarind and nicely blend it. you can adjust the salt according to your taste. once nicely blended to fine paste, prepare the tampering.
Add 1 table spoon of oil allow the oil to heat then saute cumin and mustard seeds, once the mustard seeds and cumin seeds are spluttering add curry leaves and dry red chillies and 1 table spoon of channa dhal. Once channa dal is slightly turn into brown colour add urad dhal and fry it for another 1 minute and transfer the tampering on  top of the chutney.  This chutney goes very well with dosa, idly, upma or any sort of south indian breakfast dishes.
