Simple techniques and tools are again in the foreground. You go detached to painting. This time I started with a sketch. In the video I explain why I did it and how it can be useful for you. Playfully you apply the first layer of paint with the brush. Use the scraper to achieve soft transitions or put them together in a contrasting way. You can use the scraper or a piece of cardboard. If you use many colour shades, your picture can quickly turn brown or grey. This is also in focus and so you can work wet on wet. Unlike the last colourful colour play video, you do not work on dry paint. Soft transitions from wet paint to the wet colours can be easily and playfully implemented. Thus a colourful abstract work of art is created. I used a plastic spatula, you can also use another squeegee. Have a look around the house, because the cake shovel, as I have already shown you, can also be used very well. All in all the painting has a modern style due to its colouring. It fits accordingly in modern but also in classically furnished flats.
In the book on page 27 to 31 you will find the topic scraper technique. The exercises and this video will help you to understand it better. On page 18 and 19 you will find something about the expression and your story in the picture.
